Gloomy Saturday

Today is looking rather gloomy out.  I so look forward to some better weather.  I want to take Cubby to the bike path, but they are snow packed and most likely slippery.

I got the chance to have my three little dumplings stay at the house on Thursday night.

Caleb is getting so big and talks using such big words and he has a great imagination.

Meredith loves to cuddle, but shows a great love for  animals.  She had so much fun watching the birds and the squirrels from our kitchen window.

Shane - I got to give Shane a bottle and it was such a joy to hold this sweet baby in my arms.

They are all so precious.

I hope to go to Tucson in March to give sweet Evangeline some Grandma love.

No major plans for the day.  Church at 4 p.m.  We are finishing up a series which has been speaking to me.  Last week's message was titled:
Worried:  There's an App for That.
Anyone interested in watching it go to:

You can watch  the podcast.

Enjoy this Saturday and we hope the ground hog does not see his shadow next week:)

Saturday

It's Saturday and it is cold outside.  That is all I have to say.  Pretty pathetic isn't it?

Thankful....

I was just thinking about all the things I am thankful for today.  I just am so fortunate to have so much in my life and I appreciate everything and everyone.

Just had to get that off my chest!

Here are a few pictures of the past couple of weeks!

Christmas Week

What a week we had at the McCarty house!!

I will spare everyone all the details except to say we have a beautiful new grandson and we got to have the whole family together this year for Christmas.

We forgot to get a family picture so we will try again in the summer hopefully:)

Anticipation......

I am sitting here waiting in anticipation for a host of things.

1.  Warren coming home today, I always miss him and am glad when he is safely home.

2.  Kirsten, Jon and Evie arriving Tuesday from Tucson.  I am so thankful to have them    home for Christmas this year.

3.  Monday, I get to spend the day with my sisters, who have become my best friends.

4.  The arrival of our 2nd grandson.  I love new born babies and can not wait to meet him.

5.  CHRISTMAS - the celebration of the birth of Jesus, family time and fellowship.

The wedding was beautiful and congratulations to the bride and groom!

My Little Snow Bunnies

We had our first snow of the season this past week.  It was beautiful!  I love seeing the Cardinals (not the St. Louis kind) sitting in the bushes at the edge of the woods.  We have had so many birds and it is so much fun to watch them come to the bird feeders.

Mick loves to use the SnowBlower (men and their machines)!  I am thankful that I do not have to shovel the driveway!

Caleb and Meredith had fun playing in the snow at their house!
and here is Evangeline with her winter coat and hat on, but there is no snow!  Wait till she gets to Roscoe for Christmas!
